Wolf is probably the all-time "favourite" character of the 10th Kingdom. Could it be his bouncy attitude? His flair for the dramatic? Or perhaps his status as a member of (almost) a different species??? Let's take a closer look.

The first time we see Wolf in the movie, he is residing in a cell at the Snow White Memorial Prison. The evil Queen notices him, asks him what he is, and receives a lie. This sets him up as a dodgy character right from the start!

This is probably the best thing about Wolf. Throughout the movie, you're never quite sure which side he's on. One minute, he's helping the protagonists; the next, the evil Queen is giving him further instructions.

There are a couple of points in the movie when it seems that he has changed his allegiance for certain. However, his two "sides" make it hard to tell with him... he can carry on a perfectly good conversation with himself, and although he wants to be a good person, he also wants to kill and eat people. And it's bound to get him in trouble:
